Tips: Thinking of renovating your kitchen or bathroom this spring?
Here are just a few of the key trends our design experts are watching:

Shades of Gray: Rich whites and off-whites are still the most popular choices for kitchens and bathrooms, but more and more designers are warming up to a favorite shade of gray as the canvas for creating a chic, sophisticated space. Not a fan of cooler colors? Not to worry. Beiges, bones, and browns continue to be a popular choice because of their “warm, natural” charm.

LED Lighting: Great lighting is vital to the success of any redesign, and new LED lighting options have designers taking note. In pendants, under cabinets, or recessed into ceilings, LED lighting is allowing designers to capture the perfect mood — whether it’s warm and relaxing or bright and inviting — while helping to significantly reduce energy use (and costs) in the process.

Touch Technology: Touch technology is changing the way we interact with our world and our homes. From touch-screen interaction with our appliances to touch-activated faucets to the continued popularity of touchable natural materials like quartz, granite, stone, and glass for countertops and backsplashes, our kitchens are becoming more touchable, livable spaces.
