When Hard rock Stone Works opened nine years ago, it built its foundation on high moral values and excellent customer service. As a family-owned, Michigan-based company, quality service is what continues to make it strong. For Randy Frantz and Steve Amodeo, owners of Hard Rock Stone Works, the road to growing the company into a leader in the fabrication and installation of natural stone countertops began with more than 25 years of working in management, sales, and customer service. Hard Rock Stone Works services both residential and commercial customers, ensuring that every project is completed to satisfaction — and that means perfection. The company is at the forefront of technology, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment including Water-Jet, CNC, and Laser Templating technologies — making Hard Rock one of the most advanced and precise fabrication companies in the state.

    ARE ALL GRANITES ALIKE?:

While Hard Rock Stone Works specializes in granite surfaces, Frantz notes that not all granites are alike. “There can be multiple versions of each color. Much like a cut of beef, there are better cuts than others. This is why we only use first-choice material from the most reputable suppliers,” he says. There are more than 3,000 stones available, and Hard Rock Stone Works fabricates and installs granite, marble, quartz, soapstone, limestone, and onyx.

Projects range from kitchen countertops to outdoor living spaces to reconfiguring desk areas for entire offices. “We’ve installed jobs (ranging) from very small residential jobs all the way to entire stadiums, and all jobs are given the exact same attention to detail and the quality and customer service that our customers have come to expect,” Frantz says.

Hard Rock Stone Works has a full-time team dedicated to immediate client contact, from the initial estimate to completion of the sale, scheduling appointments, day-before reminders, day of installation “on our way” calls, follow-up, and warranty registration. No-interest, 12-month financing is available in many cases.

    WHAT ARE CUSTOMERS SAYING:

Customers are quick to praise the work done by Hard Rock Stone Works. One family, who wanted to replace laminate countertops with granite, wrote: “I can’t say enough positive things about Hard Rock Stone Works. From beginning to end, the process was unbelievably smooth. I had fully researched the granite installation process, carefully drew a diagram with detailed measurements of our needs, photographed our present layout and then emailed companies this information along with questions I had. Hard Rock was the only company willing to continuously respond completely to my many questions and requests. They gave a detailed estimate and provided any additional necessary information, all by email exchanges. Our sales and contact person was absolutely fantastic. When we finally met him at the Sterling Heights showroom to pick out our granite, he was extremely helpful and not only explained but demonstrated the whole procedure. Everyone arrived at their stated time, and was professional, knowledgeable, personable, efficient, obviously skilled in their craft, and a pleasure to have work in our home.”
