KSI Kitchen and Bath is a home design and remodeling firm with seven design centers in Southeast Michigan and Northern Ohio. Butler Pantries Trending:
It’s likely that you’re entertaining at home more. A butler pantry will make your life simpler; all it takes is retrofitting an existing dining room, hallway, alcove, or the space beneath a staircase. Butler pantries were originally designed for easy access to stemware or silver that was reserved for guests. Today, they pack a more practical punch. They offer additional food and beverage preparation space, perhaps even an extra sink and a place to display collectibles.
Custom Kitchen Storage:
Is your countertop consumed by kitchen tools? We love the convenience of microwaves, blenders, juicers, and grills, but not the clutter. Integrate the appliances you use most into your workspace. Our designers recommend pull-out trays, custom-sized shelving, mirrored panel doors, and pull-down appliance garages. The functionality added by these organizational extras is usually what you end up loving the most.
Details Make the Space:
A pinch of this, a dash of that; kitchens that impress are ones that mix and match materials and color. Wood, tile, glass, fabric, stone, lighting — the ideas are endless. Set the island apart by changing up the cabinet color or glaze. Choose a cabinet door in which to show textured glass. Create interest on the walls by adding mosaic tiles. Splash the latest colors on the walls and create intrigue with unique light pendants. These are the design decisions that add personality to any space.
