DESCRIPTION

The Carlton Lofts is a stunning example of a high-quality, authentic loft condo conversion in Brush Park. When it was designed and built by legendary American architect Louis Kamper in 1923, it was known as the Carlton Plaza Hotel. In 2010, a total conversion was completed; during that process, all the systems were replaced in the building and only the structure remained. Everything in the building was redesigned to support the 50-condo project — including new plumbing, electrical, elevators, windows, and floor plans. The floor plans are dynamic, in that they’re different on each floor. Some of the lofts have split-level, two-story layouts as large as 1,850 square feet, while others are all on one level. Many offer spectacular downtown views. The condominiums are within walking distance of Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, the Detroit Opera House, the QLine, and Eastern Market.

At this time, the building has 25 units that are available for sale. They are being placed on the market as the leases expire. The Carlton Lofts are the only true loft condos in Brush Park.
