Your votes were counted, and the winner was clear. The Cameron, from Bloomfield Hills-based Sapphire Luxury Homes, took first place and has received the Readers’ Choice award for Best Overall Home.
Truthfully, it’s no surprise. This 10,000-square-foot masterpiece, completed in May 2024, features a Mediterranean-meets-modern aesthetic and is the picture of luxurious living.
Upon arrival, one is first greeted by a classic brick paver driveway that leads to the home’s timeless limestone façade. The serene site, a 1-acre lot in the prestigious Bloomfield Hunt Club community, is surrounded by meticulous landscaping, a breathtaking pool, and indoor/outdoor living spaces, and is nestled near the community’s horse stables.
Once within, the impressive foyer wows with a two-story glass wall and floating staircase. The home continues to stun with its EuroCraft kitchen (featuring Miele appliances and a moody yet sophisticated palette), dining area, and two-story great room, which features an Italian marble fireplace and a gorgeous light fixture that glistens above the space. To preserve the room’s airy feel, structural support was added.
In the main suite, a cutting-edge design creates a lasting impact with standout features such as a private balcony that overlooks the spacious lot. The en suite bathroom is a spa-like retreat with dramatic details like a double-door shower and a spiral staircase that leads to an expansive closet.

Each piece was intentionally chosen and well-thought-out, and the result is a truly remarkable, one-of-a-kind home that redefines elegant design.
