Professional organizer Lauren Combs added spice to her Bingham Farms kitchen by designing a perfect place for everything. Shown here is her knife and spice drawer.
“All of my spices were decanted into the same type of jars for uniformity,” says Combs, owner of the Michigan franchise of NEAT Method, a national luxury residential organizing company.
“Most of the spices are custom-made blends from local stores like Penzey’s Spices in Beverly Hills. Labels were custom written by me.”
Combs explains that the jars and labels match the modern aesthetic of the kitchen. “They’re organized by color, which makes the drawer beautiful to look at, very neat, and functional.” As for the built-in knife holder, it also was custom-designed.
